PART C

This scene is a little different from the others.

In the series, Betty is usually a quiet and dedicated secretary.
She accepts bad treatment from her bosses and colleagues, and she receives a lot of criticism about her appearance.
She normally does not say anything and continues working.

But in this episode, Betty gets tired of the situation.
She decides to speak up and talks about the mismanagement problems in the company. It is a tense and difficult moment.

 At that exact time,
Patricia opens the door and says the famous line: “Y llegaron los meseros".

This creates a very funny and awkward situation. Marcela and Armando get angry and decide to kick Patricia out of the office.
This funny moment becomes very iconic for the  viewers and many people remember it.

The find we chose this scene is because it’s very funny and iconic, also because it’s something out of the ordinary for the series.

The series focuses on the protagonist’s day-to-day life at the company Ecomoda; however, in this episode, Betty decides to reveal the mismanagement of the company.

At this point Patricia arrives, opens the door, and says: “Ya llegaron los meseros”. In those dramátic moments, Marcela and Armando decide to kick her out of the office.
